Spartan YMCA - w4mw Howdy, I joined the Y, and have been going some, but not as much as I'd like to - I need more motivation, and knowing I would have someone to meet would force me to go. I'm basically at a beginner level, though I'm maybe 20ish lbs overweight - I'm just out of shape. I don't really care if you're a woman or a man, old, young, fat, fit, skinny, whatever. I'm looking almost strictly for a workout buddy, not someone to date. I could possibly do the downtown or grandville Y, but the spartan one is closest (super close for me). I'd prefer off time hours, either early, daytime, or an hour or so before they close - It seems to get incredibly busy in the after work hours. 3-6x a week, cardio and weights... Right now I have a small circuit I do, cardio (walk/run) for 15ish, weights for 20-30ish, carido (walk/run) 10ish. Even if just for a month or two, I need to get in better shape before I can really do the classes offered, or I'll fall over dead :P If you're already super fit and out of the goodness of your heart want to do the personal trainer type stuff, I'm more than open to that as well, I just can't pay - that stuff is pretty costly.
